In Yoga Sculpt Lite we focus on maintaining our strength and breaking new grounds for our flexibility to grow. We will use yoga poses and lite weights to strengthen and activate muscles of the body we don’t normally use in our regular yoga practice. This mindful approach gives you strength and flexibility that improves an inner balance you didn’t even know you had while deepening your yoga practice.

Yoga For Backs

Teacher: Laura Knop

Got Back Pain?
If you are like 1 out of 10 people worldwide, you said YES. And you need this class. Join Ruth Ann weekly on Tuesday evenings beginning October 4.
We will use yoga poses and modifications of yoga poses to soothe, strengthen and stabilize the muscles that contribute to back pain: low back pain, upper back pain and mid back pain. Even that pain in your neck! This class is for anyone and everyone who wants to prevent or alleviate back discomfort. No Experience Required.

Gentle Basics

Teacher: Mary Schooley

Suitable for all levels.  A restful, calming class including breathing, gentle flowing movements, passive and supported poses. This is a perfect beginning yoga class that is also appropriate for those working with injury, limited mobility, or who prefer a softer, gentler approach to yoga.

Yin Yoga W/ TRE

Teacher: Jill O’Brien

What is TRE? TRE (Tension & Trauma Release Exercise) is an innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. Created by Dr. David Berceli, PhD, TRE safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance.

This yoga class is just what you need at the end of the long and stressful work week.
When it comes to mindfulness, this entails being aware on all levels; mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We as individuals tend to get so stuck in the past, which can trigger depression, or the future, which can create anxiety. One of the key components of yoga is to bring us back to the present moment, raise our consciousness, and become more aware of what things (i.e., emotions, excess mental chatter) might be triggering blockages. When not examined, these may create a buildup of physical pain because blockages are not released in a way that is cleansing and healing for the mind, body, and spirit.
In Mindful Vinyasa, the goal is to create a practice that utilizes the components of a Vinyasa yoga class while flowing with more awareness.
Come, release all that tension from your work week so you
can relax and enjoy your weekend.
